Our members

The Hellenic Film Academy brings together more than 600 active and distinguished professionals from across the full spectrum of filmmaking. Its honorary members are individuals with long and distinguished careers who have made a decisive contribution to the development of cinematic art, both in Greece and internationally.

The Academy’s strength lies in its people. Directors, actors, producers, screenwriters, cinematographers, editors, composers, costume designers, production designers, sound engineers, sound designers, hair and makeup artists, special effects artists, film critics and theorists, as well as representatives of the country’s leading film festivals, form a dynamic community that actively supports the Academy’s mission and contributes to enhancing the visibility and impact of Greek cinema.
